With the help of our architect, we developed a plan for a custom house designed to fit our rural property with minimal modification of the rugged landscape. Our architect also assisted us during the process of selecting a builder. Encore Construction was selected from a short list.

The choice turned out to be as good as we could have hoped for. Not only did Encore prove to be highly capable of building a custom home, but they demonstrated very open, one on one communications. They willingly accepted a sub contractor who was our personal friend. They also assisted in areas we normally would not have expected from a builder. Encore built our home at a very competitive price, on budget, and on schedule. Encore collaborated amicably with our architect and offered good solutions to unanticipated difficulties, sometimes augmenting and improving upon some of the original building plans and interior finishing details.

When needed, they did the home work necessary to help us make informed decisions regarding new construction methods and materials as well as choices regarding innovative infrastructure additions – something that other builders we considered were unable or unwilling to do. Quality materials were used in construction. Allowances were realistic and changes we imposed were graciously accepted and often implemented with little or no additional charges. Encore often went the extra mile to help us select quality furnishings that proved to be less expensive than we might have chosen on our own. Small, post construction issues requiring attention are courteously addressed.

After completing the construction, we not only consider Encore personnel our builders, but also personal friends that we would recommend to our friends for future building projects.
