Meet Our Leadership Team and Staff

Chad Wuebben

Chad Wuebben is an owner and president of Encore Construction, Inc. His father, Jerry Wuebben, started Encore Construction 30 years ago, and Chad has worked for the company for 17 years. His responsibilities include business development, management of operations and public relations.

Mr. Wuebben has been involved in the construction industry all of his life, including working in construction during the summers while in high school and college. After college he began working at Encore and has moved from job superintendent to Vice President of residential construction to now President.

Wuebben graduated from UW-Stout with a B.S. degree with a major in construction administration. Over the years he has been involved in many industry and community organizations. He is the past president (2006) and currently a board member and chairman of the government affairs committee for the Madison Area Builders Association (MABC); currently chairman of the building code committee of the Wisconsin Builders Association (WBA); a member of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB); currently a board member of the Habitat for Humanity of Dane County; and a member of Downtown Madison, Inc. (DMI). He has also been held chairmanships in other organizations and received other industry and volunteer awards. In 2005, Encore was also presented with the MABA's Builder of the Year award.

Mr. Wuebben resides in the town of Springfield with his wife Shana and two children.

 

René Gagner

René Gagner has been with Encore Construction, Inc. since 1998 and is one of four owners and the vice president of the company. His responsibilities include procuring new contracts for multi-family, light commercial and non-residential projects. He is also the general superintendent for all Encore projects and oversees the day-to-day work of superintendents and construction staff in the field.

Mr. Gagner has been in the construction industry for more than 30 years. He began his career with Windsor Homes and then Leigh Builders Inc. building multifamily apartments, low-income and senior apartment complexes. Gagner later moved to Yahara Builders as a superintendent on projects that included condominiums on Lake Monona and multistory commercial buildings. He joined Encore in 1998 as a site supervisor and became the general superintendent in 2001.

Mr. Gagner is a graduate of Barneveld High School and has lived in the Madison area all of his life. He is a member of the Associated Builders and Contractors, National Association of Home Builders - Multifamily Council, WI Council for Affordable and Rural Housing and the Middleton Chamber of Commerce.

Jeff Jaschinski

Jeff has been with Encore Construction since 1998. Now the Chief Financial Officer and one of the four owners of Encore, Jeff is responsible for maintaining relationships with financial institutions and customers, maintaining the company's IT platform and managing the HR department. Jaschinski is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and also the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants (WICPA). As a volunteer, he has been active in the Madison Jaycees, the United Way of Dane Country and is currently a member of the Madison West Rotary Club, and founding member, treasurer and board member of the Food Allergy Association of Wisconsin, Inc.

Kevin Hanna

Kevin Hanna has been with Encore Construction, Inc. since 1990 and is one of four owners and the project manager for the company. His responsibilities include creating construction cost estimates for all aspects of the construction process for residential, commercial and multi-family buildings; designing single family residences and light commercial structures and build-outs; researching and specifying the right building products to use on each project; and hiring subcontractors for all Encore projects.

Mr. Hanna previously worked for Wick Building Systems for twelve years in the drafting division, where he designed retail, municipal and non-residential buildings. He was also responsible for compiling the requisite materials needed for each project.

He is a graduate of MATC in architecture, and has been involved in the construction industry since he was twelve! He is a member of the Mendota Grid Iron Club and lives with his wife, Lisa and two grown children in the Mount Horeb area.

 

Cari Fuss

Managing Broker, Encore Real Estate Services, Inc.

Cari Fuss joined the Encore team in January 2012. She has fifteen years of experience in the banking and real estate industry in the Dane County market and surrounding areas. She works with each of Encore's clients on lot acquisition, contract negotiation and finish selections.

Ms. Fuss mananges Encore's full service brokerage and also assists clients with the sale of their existing homes. 

She studied journalism at Drake University and is a member of the Wisconsin Realtors Association, National Realtors Association and South Central Wisconsin Multiple Listing Service. She lives in Monona with her husband Mike and their two children.
